Lindsay Meyer Turner, PhD, CCC-SLP, CNT, IBCLC, RLC, NTMTC

I have over 20 years of experience working with infants and children with special needs. It has been a joy to work with every child and their families on their journey.

I received my undergraduate education from Millsaps College in Jackson, MS. After teaching elementary school, I pursued my first Master's Degree from Southern University and A&M College in Baton Rouge, LA. I concluded my formal education at Louisiana State University where I earned a second Master's Degree and my PhD in Communication Sciences and Disorders.

For the past 10 years, I have specialized in neonatal/premature infant oral feeding and swallowing and I continue to work full-time in a Level III neonatal intensive care unit (NICU). During my time in NICU, I have lovingly expanded my expertise by becoming a Certified Neonatal Therapist, an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant, and a Certified Neonatal Touch & Massage Therapist.

I am a mother to two of the most amazing children. I breastfed both and  dealt with my fair share of oral feeding struggles along this motherhood journey.

I am SO excited to offer my highly specialized skills to families who are struggling on their journey.  My Dandelion private practice is here to serve you! Don't hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or want to schedule a consultation!
